End-of 2005

the end of the year is here
and i shall wrap up what i have done over this year,
my major milestone events, etc..

1. MULAN. mulan has played a wonderful part to my sec 1 life
i learnt many things,
and learnt to appreciate everything i have.
all the training,
rehearsals,
they were tiring
yes
but i enjoyed every minute of it.
i thank mr tang and mr tan
for giving me a chance
to be part of TCN

2. BOM. being in the Board Of Monitresses
taught me
to be a better person
well
i dunno how to say it
but it has just taught me many lessons in life
and allowed me to make
more friends
in nanyang.

3. 102. i am really glad that i am in 102.
we were such a wonderful class.
the days in class - especially the first half of the year-
were so fun and enjoyable
i had learnt to accept everyone
well
almost.
but i have tried hard.
i hope that 102 will never change
and that we would stay united always.
as a class.
not in groups.

4. USHERING DUTIES
haha. this is one of my favourite part in BOM.
i like ushering people!
so fun!
haha.
yeah i enjoyed myself alot in the few ushering duties i had this year.
and i remembered especially that once
at abt term 2 i think
there was a parent teacher meet session
and i was told to usher
and wonderfully,
as i didnt noe abt the various places in school very well,
i ushered a parent AROUND THE SCHOOL (literally)
and i couldnt find the classroom her daughter was in.

i'll nvr forget.
i asked the other usherers.
but none of us could find it
haha.
but luckily,
the parent didnt blame me
or the rest of the usherers
and in the end
her daughter came to bring her there.
haha.
it was crazy work lah
but when you think back,
its fun.

5. 102 CLASS GATHERINGS
we had about two self-organised outdoor gathering.
one in June
and one in November (or october i think)
the june gathering
was at a chalet
it was rather pissyfying organising it.
but i think it came out ok in the end
coz everybody and their parents were very understanding.
=D
i'll never forget
the part
where we bought too much food.
haha.
we couldnt finish
then we gave to our "neighbours"
haha.
and we
barbequed
and some watched TV
and some went to build sandcastles.

the gathering in October
was after our choral and drama night.
at east coast park
and the class comm
and jiale
we kinda took alot of time planning
budden
it was kinda hard to get to the park
so many of us were late when we arrived.
so we were behind schedule.
but some siad they didnt have lunch
so we told them to eat then come back.

and some went to rent bikes,

we actually wanted to cancel our treasure hunt
i was rather disapointed
i admit
but thank goodness
all of u were so nice
to say that you guys wanted to play
i hoped you guys had lotsa fun
playing the hunt
especially my station!
haha.
with all the gross
food and ingredients on your legs!
haha
i was like xing zai le huo
coz i knew i wouldnt be touching it
budden in the end
i kena got splashed by the liquid
when washing the pail
haha
so fun

6. choral and drama night
well,
actually none of my family or relatives or friends
came just to watch me
SAD.
but i got a chance ot perform on nanyang stage
as an actress
and that was enough for me.
i tried my best
really

i feel that
all those practice were not enough
or even
tough

if i wasnt in theatre club
i had probably be like any ordinary girl
thinking that drama and acting
were just so simple and easy
just need to memorise lines
then when you are called by the runners
just get on stage and act
choral and drama night
in my opinion
was just a FUN word
in sec1
you dunnit to really try your best and act

i dont understand theatre
or drama
at all
and i am trying
to find out
the meaning of it

theatre is not acting but
acting is part of theatre
in all
i just want to conclude
that
theatre
was the thing
that i was into
the most
and that i like the most
and it will always be my passion
oh and i took half an hour to write this
